Who I am

After a successful, 30-year career in financial services project management, I wanted to explore other areas that interested me.

For several years I worked with an award-winning interior designer focusing on the firm’s operational activities. I utilized my extensive project management experience to improve the firm’s project budgeting and schedule management capabilities.

This experience helped me realize I was motivated by more than just the project management aspects of the design projects. I enjoyed the creative process and was energized by helping clients realize their goals.

In 2025 I opened my own firm, Porter interiors, to help clients bring their dreams to life.
